The PC3 school districts shall create and celebrate inclusive, diverse, and equitable access to education. This shall be done so all can learn and thrive no matter their gender identity, race, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, diverse learning needs, religion, and background. All members of our school communities should be reflected across the intentionally designed curricula, within the lessons that we teach, and in the ways in which we treat one another. Across the school districts, we will provide opportunities for learning about other individuals' identities and perspectives. These shared beliefs are evidenced in:
Designing classrooms and shared communal spaces that reflect these values.
Creating a safe and conducive environment for honest conversations.
Writing and revising curricula that are representative of our community and the students we
serve, as well as our global community.
Developing committees of professionals to guide and support our beliefs.
Fostering professional learning opportunities to raise awareness and expand our
understanding.
Sharing our similarities and celebrating our differences within the community.
